GAINESVILLE, GA — Last week, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) hosted a reception at his Gainesville District Office to honor the five young men from Georgia’s Ninth District who received an appointment to one of the United States Service Academies: U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. During the event, Congressman Clyde delivered congratulatory remarks and presented each of the nominees with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition.
“These five young men exemplify true leadership, academic excellence, impeccable character, and unwavering patriotism,” said Clyde. “It was an honor to nominate them, and I enjoyed celebrating their impressive accomplishments with their family, friends, and mentors. I wish Vince, Adam, Logan, Kyle, and Jayden the very best of luck in attending their prestigious military academies and in serving this great country. I’m confident they will continue making the Ninth District proud in their future endeavors.”
