GAINESVILLE, GA— Last week, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) celebrated the winners of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition for Georgia’s Ninth District.
The winners include:
First Place: Rebecca Lee’s “Box of Memories” | North Gwinnett High School
Second Place: Jasmine Muniz’s “Velvet Luxury” | Promise Preparatory Academy
Third Place: Gianna Repta’s “Farm to Table” | Seckinger High School
“Congratulations to Rebecca on her remarkable accomplishment of winning first place! I look forward to her artwork being placed in the U.S. Capitol for all of our visitors, staff, and Members of Congress to enjoy,” said Clyde. “Additionally, I’d like to congratulate Jasmine and Gianna for placing silver and bronze in this exciting competition by also submitting highly talented art. Thank you to all of the students in the Ninth who participated in this year’s competition. We truly have some incredibly talented and creative young artists!”

As the winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition, Rebecca’s artwork will soon be displayed in the U.S. Capitol building, where it will remain for a year alongside winning submissions from every congressional district across the country.
